Your house sounds like ours. I'm actually cutting back on my blogging for the next few weeks as we get things in order around here. Having skills during times of unemployment is definately important :)

Sounds wonderful! I may have to try it some time and the ginger sounds way better than artificial cherry. :)

I don't know much about headaches because it's something I've never dealt with before. Maybe someone else here or on the forum could help you out.

nothing like stretching meat out with grains! I often do this. Just this morning, I only had one egg to feed my toddler and I, so I scrambled it with some diced up ham, green onion and served it in a corn tortilla with sour cream & hot sauce. We both got plenty of food!

We already do both of these in our house and can't say enough good things about them! My bacon comes out perfectly done, flat and no splatters and the kids love oven pancakes. However, to feed our crew we need at least 2 oven pancakes and sometimes 3. We bake them in our cast iron skillets so that they can all be done at the same time. Otherwise, we're standing around waiting for another 20 minutes!

We had fried rice for dinner a couple days ago. The boys love it & I love that leftovers don't go to waste. Rice typically becomes fried rice or rice cereal/pudding.
